Training is an essential and inevitable component, more particularly, for the Microfinance Institutions which deal with poor women for their literacy, economic and social empowerment.

Training programmes form an integral part in the capacity building of functionaries working in S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance Ltd. Training plays vital role in imparting information and knowledge, improving skills and bringing about positive attitudinal development among the staff and thereby ensuring commitment and quality in service delivery. It also inculcates in the minds of center leaders, group leaders and members in the centers, the objectives and activities of S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance Ltd and the importance of micro credit system for their economic development.

Due importance is given to impart qualitative training to the staff and create awareness among the members about the need of their socio economic development and women empowerment. A number of need based, area specific and impact oriented training programmes are being organized for all categories of staff working in S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance Ltd
