S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance in association with Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre provides heath benefits to its members. MMHRC conducts regular medical camps at the centers that includes General Health Check up Camps‚ Eye Camps‚ Blood Donation‚ AIDS Awareness Camps etc. For all major illnesses members are provided healthcare services at very nominal and subsidized rates.
S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance also assists Voluntary Health Services Chennai in implementing Tamilnadu AIDS Initiative Programme at Madurai‚ thus creating awareness among sex workers and other vulnerable groups in preventing AIDs. S.M.I.L.E. in association with SRM group of hospitals‚ Chennai provides Subsidized Medical benefits to its members. |

S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance encourages its members to educate their children so that they can escape the trap of poverty. Scholarship is given to those children who have done well in their secondary and higher secondary examinations. Rs.5000 for secondary examination and Rs.10,000 for higher secondary examinations. The trust has distributed Rs.18, 97,500 till date, as scholarship to 693 children of the members. |

S.M.I.L.E. Microfinance provides free legal aid to its members in matters associated to family disputes. It has a legal manager at HO and at every division office. On an average the Trust provides guidance to 25-30 members in legal matters per year. |
